Description: Hartwick College, a nationally ranked, selective liberal arts and sciences institution, invites applications for an adjunct position as Instructor in Biology for Spring Term 2013. Successful candidates will teach one lecture section and two laboratory sections of pre-allied health microbiology (BIOL 210: Microbiology of Disease) to students who are predominately nursing majors.
Hartwick has an enrollment of approximately 1480 students in a rural setting that is located west of the Catskills, one-hour southwest of the state capital in Albany. Qualifications: Ph.D., or near completion, in Biology, Microbiology, or a related field. College teaching experience is preferred and applicants should be committed to teaching excellence.
