Title: Visiting Assistant Professor in Chemistry

Description: Hartwick College invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track, one-year position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor in Chemistry starting in September, 2014. This one-year term appointment will end in May 2015. We seek candidates with expertise in Organic Chemistry, with preference given to those with experience teaching at the undergraduate level. Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. or Master's degree in Chemistry (preferably Organic Chemistry) by the time of the appointment and experience teaching at the undergraduate level. Specific teaching assignments will include General Chemistry with laboratory, Organic Chemistry with laboratory, and Fundamentals of General, Organic, and Biological Chemistry with laboratory. The successful candidate must be committed to excellence and innovation in undergraduate teaching and working closely with students in a small college environment.
