Mr. Broschart oversees the strategic efforts of the College’s Alumni Relations and Development offices, leading the College’s fundraising efforts.
Prior to coming to Hartwick in April 2010, Broschart served as Syracuse University's director of regional advancement and team leader for greater Boston since 2007. He was director of development for Syracuse’s College of Arts & Sciences, and has overseen development efforts and giving programs at several colleges, foundations, and organizations in central New York.
His previous work includes positions at the State University of New York at Oswego and the Hospice Foundation of Central New York. He received his bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from Ithaca College and his MBA from Binghamton University. In 1998, he was named to the Central New York Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” list for his civic and business accomplishments. He also was named to the Leadership Greater Syracuse Class of 1998 and the Leadership Oswego County Class of 2006, and is a member of several boards of directors, including the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Onondaga and the Central New York Association of Fundraising Professionals.
