Hartwick operates its own telecom digital/analog phone system with voice-mail capabilities (answering machines are not needed).
Academic and administrative areas are equipped with digital phones.
Every residence hall room is equipped with one phone jack, one data jack, and one cable TV jack per pillow. Standard home-type analog phones are used in residence halls. Students and guests should bring their own phone with a long phone line cord--25 feet is recommended.
