Business Administration Major Requirements

Business Administration Courses Required:

  • BUSA 101 Introduction to Business (4 credits)
  • BUSA 230 Organizational Behavior (3 credits)
  • BUSA 240 Marketing (3 credits)
  • BUSA 280 Finance (4 credits)
  • BUSA 480 Business Policy and Strategy (3 credits)

Accounting Courses Required:

  • ACCO 101 Financial Accounting (4 credits)

Economics Courses Required:

  • ECON 101 Principles of Microeconomics (3 credits) or
  • ECON 102 Principles of Macroeconomics (3 credits)

Additional Requirements:

Minimum 4 BUSA elective courses at the 300- or 400- level.  An approved BUSA internship of 3 credits or more (BUSA 395 or 495) may count as one of the four electives. A total of one 300- or 400-level course in ACCO, FINA, or ECON may also count as one of the four elective courses.  At least three of the four electives must be in BUSA.

Accounting-CPA Major Requirements

Minimum of 150 total graduation credits; minimum of 33 credits in Accounting and 30 credits in Business. Max 75 hours in Accounting and Business.
