Egypt: The Religious Culture of Ancient Egypt

Experience the beauty and rich culture of the ancient land of the Nile.

We will fly to Cairo and experience the Great Sphinx and Giza Pyramids. Imagine having lunch in an open air café looking out upon these historic sites! After a visit to the ancient capital of Memphis and the Cairo Museum (viewing the artifacts of King Tut), we will take an overnight train south to Aswan and view its impressive monuments. From there we fly to Luxor and spend time among the ruins of the Valley of the Kings, the Ramasseum, the Karnak Temple, and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

We then fly to Sharm El Sheikh on the Red Sea for a day of rest at the beach before a pre-dawn hike up Mt. Sinai, experiencing sunrise at the top of the mountain associated with Moses and the Ten Commandments.

Join us in exploring the exciting cultures and history of Egypt!
