Hartwick college

The Office of Advising & Registration oversees the advising services and learning support services offices, as well as the Registrar's Office at Hartwick College.

Advising services, located on the 4th floor of Dewar Union, serves as a clearinghouse of academic information to students and academic advisors, and as a source of referral to other support offices on campus. The main focus of advising services is to provide Undeclared students, first year students, students transitioning between majors, and transfer students with academic counseling designed to assist with the transition to College or to a new program of study.

The Registrar's Office maintains an accurate and complete academic record of courses offered, classroom facilities utilization, class enrollments, personal student demographic information, grades awarded for student academic performance, and degrees conferred. The office also monitors the implementation of and adherence to College academic policy, and ensures compliance with all Federal and State regulations pertaining to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974  and the rights of students. In addition, the Office also administers course registration, issues degree and enrollment verifications, maintains degree audit, produces official transcripts, produces the exam schedule, maintains the College Catalog and provides other unique services integral to College operations.

Learning Support Services are administered through the The Loft, on the 5th floor of the Stevens-German Library in Yager Hall. Tutoring and Disability Services are the main tenets of the Loft, however, study skills, task management and other services designed to improve the academic abilities of students are also available.
