Keep Calm and Intern On: A Spring of Internship Programs
The Center for Professional, Service, and Global Engagement and other campus sponsors will welcomed Lauren Berger, Founder and CEO of Intern Queen Inc., best-selling author, and leading internship and workplaceexpert on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 7 p.m. Berger is the author of "All Work, No Pay: Finding an Internship, Building Your Resume, Making Connections, and Gaining Job Experience." The book, which assists readers in obtaining the perfect internship, was released in early 2012 on Random House and quickly became one of the best-selling career books in the country.
Berger spoke with students about her own internships (15 during her college career) and guided students with the steps to take to get hired for the internship of their dreams.

Three easy steps to an internship:
1. Meet with an advisor in the PSGE Center. Click here to make an appointment.
2. Identify a faculty mentor so you can get credit for the work you are going to do (most internships are not paid).
3. Pick your internship and go!
