Hartwick college

Each January, the Office of Career Services connects first year and sophomore students with professionals in Binghamton, NY (about an hour west of Oneonta) in career fields that interest them. As part of Hartwick's "Connecting the Classroom to the World" philosophy, we feel that giving students an opportunity to explore careers early in their college experience is one of the most beneficial ways that they can begin making an informed career decision.

Each year, a committee of Hartwick alumni and parents assists Career Services in locating and providing career shadows to students. The program is coordinated by Lara Sanford in Career Services. She can be reached at extension 4048.
