Progressive Instruction

What is Progressive Instruction?
Progressive instructors are peers who are available to assist in courses that are particularly challenging for students.

Progressive instructors:

  • Coordinate group tutoring sessions
  • Work one-on-one with students in the class
  • Perform additional tasks related to the course

Progressive instructors are students who have been highly recommended by department chairs or professors.

If you have questions about progressive instruction or would like to become a progressive instructor, please contact Jason Stanton (stantonj@hartwick.edu) in the Center for Student Success (5th floor, Stevens-German Library).
