Theatre Arts Student Outcomes

Student Research

Chase O'Neill '16 will be participating in a Playwriting Intensive at the National Theatre Institute, Eugene O'Neill (no relation) Theatre Center spring term 2015. NTI offers extremely selective programs that have provided foundational experiences for many well known actors, directors and playwrites.

Brian Cook '16 will be participating in a spring term abroad in India.

Alyssa Lundberg '16, Lindsay Partelow '17, Toni Cross '18, and Danielle Weaver '15 will be participating in the Kennedy Center/American College Theatre Festival Region One conference, presenting performance work from recent Hartwick productions as part of the Irene Ryan Scholarship program.

Danielle Weaver '15, Kayleigh Zapf '15, and Joanna Carber '16 have been nominated for Meritorious Achievement by the Design Committee of KC/ACTF Region One for their work on design and stage management of the recent fall term Hartwick production of Caucasian Chalk Circle. They will be presenting their work at the conference at the end of January, 2015.

Student Internships

Leslie Bruce '14 is in a sound and lighting internship with Kevin Davis Productions. She is working on a production that will be presented at the Mint Theatre in NYC, December 15 through 22, 2014. Leslie has hired Ley Wynn '17 to help with this project over winter break

Kyrie McCormick '14 is in a production stage management internship at the 13th Street Repertory Theatre in NYC.

Graduate/Professional School Placements

Veronica Hudak '14 is planning to pursue a Masters in Education, Special Education.

Kelly Fayton '13 is in an MFA program in Technical Design and Production at Yale School of Drama in New Haven, CT.

Employment

Dan Etchevery '14 is in the Boston area attending auditions and seeking acting work.

Cassie Howe '14 is employed at the Farmer's Museum in Cooperstown as their Dramatic Interpretive Education Coordinator.
