Research in the Biology Department
The biology faculty at Hartwick all maintain active research programs involving our students, and all biology students must complete a senior thesis, which usually involves independent research in some area of biology. Research interests within the department range from gene expression in plants to amphibian development to arthropod neuroanatomy to avian mating systems —and lots in between!
