Brittany McCabe '14 is co-author (with M.L. Kuhlmann) of a paper titled "Diet specialization in Octopus vulgaris at San Salvador, The Bahamas" currently in press in the journal Marine Ecology Progress Series.
John Stuligross '13 is co-author (with M.E. Allen) of a review titled "A Cautionary Tale of Damage to the Public Health from Miscommunication and Willful Misunderstanding" in the Journal of Microbiology and Biology Education Vol 14, Issue 2.
Research Awards and Grants
Brittany McCabe '14 was awarded the Frank G. Brooks Platform Presentation Award at the Tri-Beta Biological Honor Society NE-1 Regional Convention, College of Mount Saint Vincent, Riverdale, NY.
Brittany McCabe '14 was awarded a Sigma Xi Grant-in-Aid-of-Research of $400 for her senior thesis research on octopus prey selection. The field research was conducted at San Salvador, The Bahamas.
Brittany McCabe '14 presented a talk titled "Prey selection by Octopus vulgaris at San Salvador, The Bahamas: Do individuals specialize?" at the Bahamas Natural History Conference in Nassau ,The Bahamas (with M.L. Kuhlmann).
