Graduate School

For those economic students who wish to pursue an advanced degree in economics (MA, Ph.D.), we provide information to get you started. The graduate school application process begins with the GRE exam.

If you wish to obtain an advanced degree in economics, we advise that you pursue a second major or minor in Mathematics. At a minimum, you should plan to take courses in advanced calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations. These course are not required for students pursuing a law or business degree.

If you wish to pursue a law degree, you should seek information from the pre-law advisor.

If you wish to pursue an MBA, contact Penny Wightman (wightmanp@hartwick.edu) or Scott Dalrymple (dalrymples@hartwick.edu)  for more information.
