Royal Gifford Collection
Hartwick College acquired the Micronesia (Little Islands) collection from Royal Gifford. Gifford was a 
native of Otsego County who taught in the area for 20 years before relocating to Micronesia. While there, he took on the role of Supervisor of the Micronesian Occupational College. He returned to the Oneonta area with many objects from the islands.
