Oneonta has many hidden gems, one of which is The Yager Museum of Art & Culture at Hartwick College. The Museum has five galleries, featuring permanent and temporary exhibits. As the only art and culture museum in the area, we strive to educate by drawing from our collections in the fine arts, Upper Susquehanna Indian artifacts, and Southwestern pottery, baskets, and rugs, as well as by bringing to the area exhibits that address ongoing and difficult social concerns such as AIDS, DWI, and eating disorders.

Located on the first floor of Yager Hall at Hartwick College, the Museum is open Tuesday-Saturday, noon-4:30 p.m.; admission is free.

If you would like to make arrangements for a group visit to the Museum, please contact Anne Saluzzo at 607-431-4299.
