Would you (or a group of students) like to demonstrate a skill or analytical technique that you learned in class? Do you (or a group of students) want to conduct an academic simulation used in one of your classes? Do you (or a group of students) want to conduct a panel session or group discussion about a topic related to a class? Then the Showcase panel, demonstration, simulation, group presentation format is for you.
Table Presentation
Are you comfortable speaking to people on a one-on-one basis? Would you like less time constraint on explaining your project, and don't mind repeating your explanation several times over the course of an hour? Would like to use a computer, microscope, scientific specimens, archaeological specimens, or samples of your 3-D artwork in your presentation? Then the Showcase table presentation format is for you.
Poster Presentation
Are you comfortable speaking to people on a one-on-one basis? Would you like less time constraint on explaining your project, and don't mind repeating your explanation several times over the course of an hour? Can you best explain your project with a small number of pictures, graphs, or 2-D artwork? Then the Showcase poster presentation format is for you.
