Where are the books located?
Our books are organized by the Library of Congress Classification System that is used in all academic libraries. The call numbers are organized alphabetically by subject area: see the complete list here.
The main floor of the library is on the 4th floor which includes our reference collection. Books starting with the letter A through DB are located on the 3rd floor (one down). DC through Z are on the 2nd floor (two down). Oversize books (all call numbers) are found on the 3rd floor.

Can I print from my laptop to a library printer?
Yes, though you need to be connected to the network either through a network cable or a wireless connection. To see how to set up your laptop and which printers are available in the library, click here.

Is research assistance available for my paper?

.The book I need is checked out, what can I do?
Though we have changed the loan period for students from one semester to 6 weeks, there may be books that you need sooner than when it is due back. Submit a recall request and we will contact the current borrower to see if they are willing to return the book sooner. Please note that as a rule borrowers have a minimum 14 day loan period plus 4 days to return the item for a total of 18 days. Click here for the recall form (Item Search Form).

I can't find the book on the shelf, can you help?
Ask for assistance at the circulation desk. If you are sure you found the right area, but the item is missing you can also fill out an item search form and we will check to see if the item was misplaced. Click here for the item search form.
