AmeriStat
Site developed by the Population Reference Bureau to provide summaires in graphics and text of the demographic characteristics of the U.S. population. The data can be graphed in line, bar chart or pie chart format or downloaded as a data file in ASCII or Excel format.

Census Bureau
Census Department homepage providing a variety of statistical data on U.S. population, housing, labor, trade, and economics. Data arranged by subject. Includes a new resource called 1990 Census Lookup, which offers electronic access to parts of almost all of the summary tape files of the 1990 census, including STF3A, STF3B, STF3C, STF3C, STF1A, and STF1C.

County and City Data Book
Searchable versions of the Data Books for 1988 and 1994. Include demographic and economic data down to the county and city level. Users can sort data by certain variables and display or FTP the resulting information sets.
