Job title: Recyclemania Assistant

Duties: The Pine Lake Institute seeks 8-9 student assistants (one per residence hall plus Pine Lake) to assist in Hartwick's Recyclemania Competition. Job can begin ASAP, but is focused on a six week period (Feb 13 - Mar 23) with possible extension to end of spring semester. Students must be work-study eligible and will work 2-4 hours per week.

Duties include but are not limited to: Serve as primary outreach person in your residence area, educate residents about zero-sort recycling, update residents on weekly results, encourage greater recycling in hall, etc.; work as part of Hartwick's Recyclemania team to coordinate residence hall and campus events; sponsor at least two residence hall programs over the six week period; meet with the Recyclemania team once a week to coordinate events and activities. Requirements: Interest in campus sustainability and recycling; able to work independently and as part of a campus team; capable of organizing and conducting a recycling initiative in residence hall.
