Topics in Biology: Research in Biology

Students in this course will work in the classroom and laboratory to investigate behavioral disorders such as autism, ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

The course is designed to teach students to find, understand, and communicate scientific information, construct and test hypotheses, and make connections between science and society in the context of a research experience. Laboratories will stress hands-on participation in topic-related experimental design, data collection and analysis, and reporting of results of problem solving. No textbook required.

This course is taught by A. J. Russo, Assisstant Professor of Biology.
