From the Director

Hello!

We're delighted you've decided to explore Hartwick's Summer College for High School Students! At Hartwick, we believe in the value of melding a liberal arts education with experiential learning. We believe that the best learning is done inside and outside of the classroom, in close interaction with faculty who are experts in their field. As a student of our Summer College for high school students, you will experience what Hartwick College offers every day.

You'll find our courses engaging and our first-class faculty inspiring. Whether you choose to learn how to create horror films using animation software, perform real research with a leading behavioral disease biologist, engage in a theatrical journey of self-expression, or write perhaps your most creative work, you'll be immersed in learning that is challenging, fun, innovative, and interactive.

You'll live in one of our on-campus residence halls, spend time at our Pine Lake Environmental Campus, participate in extracurricular activities, build lasting friendships, develop leadership qualities and earn college credit -- getting a great head start on your college career.

Apply today to become a member of the 2013  Summer College class. We look forward to having you with us in Oneonta, New York from July 6-26, 2013!

Warm Regards,

Rachel Stevenson, Director
