Lindsey Hendricks will begin her first season as assistant coach of the Hartwick College field hockey program in the fall of 2011. She arrives at 'Wick after serving as an assistant at Ithaca College last season.

Hendricks began her coaching career at Skidmore College, where she helped the Thoroughbreds to three NCAA Tournament appearances and two Liberty League Championships in her three seasons with the program. Skidmore reached the NCAA "Sweet 16" in her second season and advance to the NCAA "Elite 8" the following year.

Working primarily with Skidmore's goalkeepers, Hendricks coached student-athlete Liz Catinella to all-region and all-conference honors during her tenure. Under Hendrick's guidance, Catinella finished third in the country in both save percentage and goals against average in 2008.

At the conclusion of the 2009 season, Hendricks was recognized for her coaching acumen as the Skidmore College coaching staff was tabbed the Liberty League Field Hockey Staff of the Year.

Hendricks has been a coach with New York State Futures for the last four years. After two years as an assistant, she was elevated to head coach in November 2009 and has served in that capacity ever since. She has also coached with Circle Play Field Hockey for the last year.

She played four seasons of college field hockey for cross-town rival Oneonta State from 2002-2005. Hendricks was a team captain in her senior season and started in all 20 games for the Red Dragons, helping the team to 11 victories and an appearance in the ECAC playoffs.

She graduated in December 2006 from Oneonta State with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and earned her master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix in March 2009.
