Scott Linn will begin his third season as a Hartwick assistant coach.
This season, Linn will work with the 'Wick linebacker corps after coaching the defensive line for his first two years with the program. In 2009, Linn coached senior lineman Ben Tomaino, who would would garner d3football.com All-America honors after a stellar final season with the Hawks.
Linn joined the 'Wick staff after a two-year stint at Empire 8 foe Alfred University for two seasons. While at Alfred, Linn was the running backs coach where in 2007 he guided running back Vinson Hendrix to the school's single-season rushing record and All-America honors by D3football.com.
In 2008, Linn once again coached his running backs to success, piloting tailback Morgan O'Brien to all-conference accolades in the Empire 8.
Linn was a four-year fullback at Albion College where he earned his bachelor's degree in Physical Education and minored in Health. Upon graduating in 2006, he coached at his alma mater as the program's fullbacks and tight ends coach. Linn acquired a master's degree in Education from Alfred last year.
