Three in a Row for Chapman

ROCHESTER, NY - Hartwick Mackenzie Chapman (Niskayuna, NY/Niskayuna) earned Empire 8 Field Hockey Goalie of the Week honors for the third straight week as the conference office announced its weekly awards earlier today.

Chapman made a diving save on a penalty corner to seal a 1-0 Hartwick win over Utica on Saturday. The win clinched a spot in the conference tournament for the Hawks. She made five saves in two games and earned her fourth shutout of the year with the victory over the Pioneers.

Chapman and the Hawks host Skidmore on Wednesday afternoon at Wright Stadium in their next match. The Thoroughbreds are ranked 11th in the nation in the latest NFHCA poll. 'Wick wraps up the regular season at Nazareth on Oct. 31st and has already clinched the second seed in the Empire 8 Tournament on Nov. 7-8 at Stevens in Hoboken, NJ.
