
CAPE COD, MA - Hartwick field hockey has earned a berth in the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Mid-Atlantic Field Hockey Tournament which begins on Wednesday, November 11th. The Hawks are the eighth seed in the tournament and will take on top-seeded Wilkes University on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
The ECAC berth is the Hawks' fifth under the guidance of head coach Anna Meyer and first since 2005. Hartwick won the ECAC crown in both 1992 and 1995.
A victory on Wednesday would advance the Hawks into the semifinal round on Saturday. The top remaining seed after Wednesday's quarterfinal matches will host both semifinals on Saturday and the championship on Sunday.
