
ONEONTA, NY - Jason Boltus' (Baldwinsville, NY) has been selected for East Coast Bowl VIII on November 29 in Petersburg, VA. The game will take place at Cameron Field at 12 p.m.
The East Coast Bowl brings the best Division II, Division III, and NAIA college football players from across the country to compete against each other in a North versus South format. It offers a platform for small college football players to gain further recognition and showcase their abilities to professional scouts.
Several players participating in the East Coast Bowl over the last seven seasons have gone on to successful careers in the National Football League (NFL), the Canadian Football League (CFL), and the Arena League.
Boltus capped his four-year career with Hartwick on Saturday in the ECAC Northwest Bowl with 425 total yards to break the all-time NCAA Division III record which now stands at 14,231 yards. He also registered seven more touchdown passes to end up with 43 for the season. Boltus ranks second all-time in NCAA history in passing yards with 13,276 and third in touchdown passes with 134.
