ITHACA, N.Y. - Sean Burton scored a game-high 23 points to lead Ithaca to a convincing 85-46 victory over visiting Hartwick in Empire 8 Conference men's basketball action, Saturday afternoon at Ben Light Gym.

Hartwick, which fell to 5-1 overall and 1-1 in league action, jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the opening moments of the tilt thanks to a three-pointer by Mike Clifford (New Hartford, N.Y.) and a jumper by Greg Bankowski (Guilderland, N.Y.).
