Hartwick Women's Basketball Program to Host Breast Cancer Awareness Night

ONEONTA, NY - On Friday night, Hartwick College's women's basketball team will host a Senior Appreciation/Breast Cancer Awareness Event before, during, and after its 6 p.m. meeting with RIT in the Hawks' regular season finale.

Prior to the game with the Tigers, seniors Krystle Crouse (Canajoharie, NY), Shamia Dean(Rensselaer, NY), Cassie Dresser (Ovid, NY), Lauren Ploof (Hammond, NY), and Heather Pruchansky (Naples, FL) will be honored for their efforts and contributions to the program.

Donations will be collected at the door as well as throughout the game with 100% of the proceeds going towards breast cancer research. In addition, the first 50 fans to arrive at the game will receive a free pink Hartwick T-shirt.

All fans attending the game are encouraged to wear pink in an attempt to raise awareness for the deadly disease.
