As you get ready to make Hartwick your new home, there is a lot to think about! The Office of First Year Experience is here to help you prepare for your upcoming journey. Here is an overview of important dates, mailings, and resources to get you started.

New Student Orientation
First-year students should mark calendars now and plan to attend one of the New Student Orientation events in June:

• Sunday, June 3
• Wednesday, June 6
• Saturday, June 9
• Tuesday, June 12

Transfer students will attend the Transfer Transition Orientation on Wednesday, August 29. Residential transfer students will also move in on this date.

New Student Forms
First-year students should visit the Required First-Year Forms page to access required and optional forms for new first-year students. Please note each deadline.

Transfer students should visit the Transfer Transition page to access required and optional forms for incoming transfer students.

New Student Mailings
New students will receive the following mailings upon enrollment:

• Welcome from the Director of Admissions
• Letter from the Office of First Year Experience and New Student Passport packet (First-year student version)
• Transfer Student Letter from the Office of FYE and Transfer Student Passport packet (Transfer student version)
• Welcome from the President
