Zach returned to his hometown of Oneonta after graduating from Nazareth College in Rochester N.Y. and joined the Hartwick College Residential Life and Housing team as a Residence Director of Smith Hall in 2001. Since 2004, Zach has moved up the Residential Life and Housing ladder holding the positions of Area Coordinator (2004-2005) and Assistant Director of Residential Life and Housing (2005-2007) until his current position as the Director of Residential Life, Housing, Student Conduct and Summer Programs. Providing the opportunities for students to grow academically, socially and personally and seeing the students succeed is what makes residential life a great environment to work in.

Is excited to join the Residential Life Office as the Assistant Director of Residential life. Prior to arriving to Hartwick, Heather was a Residence Director at massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. She earned her graduate degree, Masters of Science in Education with a concentration in Leadership, from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania where she was also a Graduate Assistant/ Graduate hall Director in Residence Life. Heather recently celebrated her ten year class reunion at Cedar Crest college located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She will be living in Hilltop.

Barbara has been a part of the Hartwick Residential life team since January 2000 after moving to the Oneonta area from Maine. This has been her first experience with residential life and what a learning experience it has been. "Working in Residential life there is such a sense of community, I feel as though we play an integral role in supporting and influencing the lives of the more than 1,200 residents living on campus."

Joined the Hartwick staff in July of 2013. Previously he has worked in Residence Life at Mount Saint Mary College and the Culinary Institute of America, as a Residence Director. He will be graduating in May 2014 with his Master's in Business Administration from Mount Saint Mary College. Returning to the Oneonta area as an Alumni of SUNY Oneonta, Paul earned his Bachelor of Science in Education. As a native resident of Port Ewen, NY and founding father of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity, Paul remains involved with his passion for student development. Paul will be living in Wilder Hall.

Alice joined Hartwick College in August 2011 and is excited to be a member of the Residential Life Team. Alice studied English at SUNY Oneonta, where she was a Resident Advisor for over two years. Upon graduation, Alice returned to her hometown of Long Island, New York. She worked in various fields before attending graduate school to follow her true passion for working with college students. Alice graduated from Hofstra University with her Master's degree in Education focusing in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies & Higher Education. Alice loves working in residence life because every day is fresh and exciting and she enjoys helping students learn and grow.

Jenna joined the Hartwick Residential Life team in the fall of 2011 after working at Onondaga Community College and Yale University as a Residence Hall Director. Jenna is originally from Syracuse, NY and graduated from Nazareth College of Rochester in May 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. During her time at Nazareth, Jenna worked as a Resident Assistant, thoroughly enjoying every moment of her work on the residential life team. After being a first year student RA for two years, Jenna found that her passion resided in the field of Residential Life and Student Affairs. Jenna is currently a graduate student working on her masters degree in Higher Education Administration from Stony Brook University. If you asked Jenna why she works in Residential Life, she would say that she "loves working with and valuing each student for who they are and getting to know each of their unique backgrounds, personalities, talents and goals; it is awesome making a difference in the lives of others!!"

Aimee is new to Hartwick in 2012 and joins the staff of Wilder Hall following three and a half years as a Resident Assistant and Senior Resident Assistant at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Connecticut. A native of Griswold, Connecticut, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and hopes to soon pursue a Masters degree in Student Affairs. Aimee is excited to get to know the students and loves working in Residential Life to build community and make a hall into a home.

Sierra Phillips is entering her final year as a senior here at Hartwick College. She is an English major while in the Education Program for Secondary and Special Education. She has been working with the Hartwick Residential Life Department for 3 years. Among other things, she is part of the Cheerleading team and is the current President for HCAB. She anticipates becoming a high school English teacher after graduation. She is excited to start the new school year in her new home, Leitzell Hall.

Katie Pennings is a member of the Class of 2014 and the Assistant Resident Director of Oyaron House. Katie is a music education major with the hopes of one day teaching music to students with special needs. In addition, Katie is the director of the a capella group "Not So Sharp" and an employee for the Admissions department, giving tours to prospective students. Katie has been a Resident Advisor the past two years and is looking forward to taking on the leadership position for the 2013-2014 year.

Bryce enters the school year as a senior Political Science major who is particularly interested in international relations. When not busy in his office working as the ARD of Holmes Hall, he can typically be found working for Student Senate or the Hartwick Model United Nations Club. In his spare time, Bryce enjoys reading, writing and playing on his PS2. He is excited to begin the year and get to know all of the students in Holmes Hall!
