Fiona Dejardin, Ph.D.

Fiona Dejardin, Ph.D., professor of art history, received several grants during her tenure as director of the Yager Museum of Art & Culture, including an Institute of Museum and Library Services grant through the Conservation Assessment Program to undertake an assessment of the permanent collection. IMLS is a federal agency that supports preservation and access to museums and library collections. Dejardin also received several grants through the New York State Council on the Arts to fund exhibitions and collections care and research. The Museum also received funding through the Lower Hudson Conference of Historical Agencies and Museums for conservation of two paintings in the fine arts collection, and a grant through the Preservation and Access Program of the National Endowment for the Humanities to improve textile storage.
