Netlibrary Access 2,000 electronic books on a variety of academic subjects through this link or by searching the Hartwick library catalog by subject, author or title. In addition, access over 3,000 public domain e-books, using the Netlibrary interface (on the search screen check the box marked "Include publicly accessible eBooks"). Women Writers Online Online archive of writings by pre-Victorian women. Texts can be read online, searched, downloaded, or printed.

The library has purchased access to the e-book collections listed on this page, but many freely available e-text archives exist on the web. A good directory of e-texts is available at the Internet Public Library or the On-line Books Page.
