Carrie: The Musical at Hartwick College

Hartwick Theatre To Present “Carrie: The Musical”

The Hartwick College Theatre Department, with participation from students spanning across a wide variety of academic disciplines, will soon perform Carrie: The Musical. Based on Stephen King's bestselling novel, Carrie, the Musical features a book by Lawrence D. Cohen (screenwriter of the classic film) , music by Academy Award winner Michael Gore (Fame, Terms of Endearment), and lyrics by Academy Award winner Dean Pitchford (Fame, Footloose).  Performance rights for the musical were granted by the Rogers and Hammerstein production library.

The musical will run from April 17 - 19, and again from April 24 - 26 in Slade Theatre, Yager Hall on the College campus. Each of the aforementioned shows will begin at 8 p.m. with the house opening at 7:30 p.m. The performance is $5 for students, Hartwick faculty and staff (with valid student/Hartwick ID) and $10 for the general public.
