Early Decision Deadline For Hartwick Applicants is Now Nov. 15November 10, 2011
Prospective students interested in applying Early Decision to Hartwick College now have until November 15 to do so.
"The deadline has been extended given the unusually large number of students applying Early Decision this year," said Director of Admissions Jonathan Kent. "We want to make sure that students have enough time to complete their application."
Early Decision applications are complete once the admissions office has the finished application form (either the Hartwick Priority Application or Common Application) and an official high school transcript. An essay and letter(s) of recommendation are optional. Students who apply Early Decision will be notified of Hartwick's decision no later than December 15. Students who are admitted Early Decision must submit the $400 Enrollment Deposit within two weeks of receiving their estimated financial aid package.
If you apply Early Decision, remember to complete the Early Decision Financial Aid Form if you intend to apply for need based aid. You will automatically be notified of your merit scholarship in your acceptance letter, possibly up to $24,000 per year.
