Hartwick To Welcome Families, Friends To CampusSeptember 25, 2012
Hartwick College will welcome families and friends to both its main campus and Pine Lake campus from October 5-7, for Family Weekend 2012.
For three days, families will get a glimpse at student life on campus, with events, games, exhibits, picnics, and discussions geared toward learning more about Hartwick.
Friday events will include exhibits at the Yager Museum of Art & Culture, a geology hike with Professor of Geology Dr. Robert Titus, a Clay Club demonstration with Assistant Professor of Art Dr. Stephanie Rozene, and a dessert reception/Prism concert performed by Hartwick students, staff, and faculty.
Saturday's highlights will include a coffee hour with Hartwick's award-winning faculty, Brooks' barbecue, the annual Cardboard Boat Race at Pine Lake, a Cultural Celebration of Hartwick's international reach, an illusionist performance by Leon Etienne, and much more.
On Sunday, participants are invited to the Code BLUEberry Brunch, where families and friends may join students for a casual, BLUE-themed meal.
