Hartwick Included in Prestigious Fiske Guide to CollegesSeptember 9, 2009
Edward B. Fiske and his eponymous “Guide to Colleges” have taken note of what’s happening on Oyaron Hill, including Hartwick in the publication’s highly selective listing for 2010.
The Fiske Guide to Colleges includes “330 of the country’s best and most interesting colleges and universities.” For more than 20 years, the guide has been a resource for college-bound students and their parents based on its selectivity and subjective presentation, which assesses “the strengths and weaknesses of each institution in terms of academics, social life, and overall quality of life.”
“We at Hartwick are pleased to be included in the ‘Fiske Guide to Colleges,’” said David Conway, Vice President for Enrollment Management. “The editors clearly recognized Hartwick’s hard work on and traditional emphasis toward an experiential, engaging educational experience in praising our ‘unconventional learning options’ and ‘dedication to forging a new path through technology.’"
