HartLink Is Online Home for Student Organizations

September 9, 2011

This semester, the Office of Student Affairs has launched HartLink, which will become the online hub for student organizations, events and more on the Hartwick College campus.

HartLink online is where student clubs and organizations manage their memberships, finances, events, and service activities. HartLink also provides a gateway to involvement opportunities and allows students to document their participation and learning.

"HartLink provides an exciting opportunity for everyone involved in a club or organization at Hartwick," said Meg Nowak, Vice President for Student Affairs. "The technology will make organizing and attending club functions and events much more streamlined across campus, which will result in an even better experience for the many, many students across campus who find great value in their organization."

The site, hartlink.hartwick.edu, can be used in a number of different ways by student leaders, club officers, members, and the entire campus community.

Each student organization has a homepage within the system, from All-Greek Council to Student Senate. HartLink enables the posting of information about the club, news, events, a photo gallery, shared documents and more.

The system also creates an up-to-date events calendar, sorts events by subject, and can even suggest recommended organizations and events for users. The Virtual Flyer Board highlights upcoming activities, and Campus News shows displays who's talking about what, the latest announcements and details, and other student organization activity.
