2013 Hartwick College Student Showcase

A Call for Submissions to the Hartwick Student Showcase

February 1, 2013

Did you participate in an enjoyable academic exercise in one of your classes either on campus or abroad this J Term? Have you created original artwork, a play, poetry, or prose?  Have you been conducting research in history, psychology, mathematics, or natural science? Would you like to recreate that exercise for others? Whatever form your academic achievement takes, share it at the 2013 Student Showcase!

On May 10, 2013, Hartwick College will host its 6th annual Student Showcase from 8:30 am to 4 pm on the main campus in Oneonta. Submissions are open now and will remain open until Friday, March 1 at 11:59 pm. To learn more about the 2013 Student Showcase, click here.

The event, originally called Scholar Showcase, was created in 2008 as an opportunity for some of Hartwick College's best students to show off their work, ranging from research carried out in the labs of Johnstone Science Center to displays of visual or performing arts. The students' accomplishments are an inspiration to their peers and also to the broader public, who are also invited to the day's events Hartwick.

If you are a current student and would like to participate, talk to a faculty or staff member about mentoring your presentation. Write up your presentation title and summary, and have your mentor carefully review it prior to submitting it.
