Honors Convocation to Recognize Student Achievements

May 9, 2011

Hartwick College will honor the year's top students at 8 p.m. Thursday, May 12, during this year's Honors Convocation in Stack Lounge, Dewar Union.

Each year, the ceremony recognizes more than 200 students for their academic and scholarly contributions throughout the year and their Hartwick career. The event culminates with the naming of this year's John Christopher Hartwick Scholars, the highest student honor bestowed by the College. Students also will be chosen for induction into the Hartwick College Honor Society and will be recognized for completion of the Hartwick College Honors Program.

Several faculty members also will be honored during the ceremony, with the appointment of this year's Teacher-Scholar and Winifred D. Wandersee Scholar-in-Residence.
