Hartwick’s Annual Peep Show Extravaganza is April 27

April 19, 2012

Hartwick College's annual Peep Show Extravaganza! will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, April 27 in the Foyer of Anderson Center for the Arts on the Hartwick campus.

In this Hartwick rite of spring, all members of the Hartwick and surrounding communities are encouraged to create an artwork representing, interpreting, defacing, mocking, celebrating, or analyzing the infamous marshmallow peep. All are also invited to join fellow revelers for tacky prizes, sticky food, and irreverent humor.

Entries must be delivered to the foyer of the Anderson Center for the Arts between 9 a.m. and noon. Judging will begin at 2 p.m., and awards will be announced at 4 p.m.

This year's juror is Hartwick College Associate Professor of Religious Studies Lisle Dalton. The Peep Show is co-sponsored by the Department of Art and Art History and "UNTITLED," Hartwick's student art organization. For further information contact Professor of Art Betsey Ayer at 607-431-4826 or
