Hartwick To Welcome Film-Maker Pooh KayeOctober 9, 2012
Award winning choreographer, animator and film-maker, Pooh Kaye will be at Hartwick College for "HUMAN stop Motion: Play In the Realms of the REAL" on Monday, October 15 at 7 p.m. in the Anderson Center for the Arts Theatre on the College campus. The event is free and open to the public.
Kaye is known for both "...carefully crafted compositions that teem with the seemingly chaotic effects of life itself..."- (Jennifer Dunning, The New York Times); and her raucous, award winning, stop-motion, animated films.
Kaye often presents her work and collaborations in upstate New York. Her film, "Spring Cleaning," which will be part of the event at Hartwick on the 15th, premiered at RPI's EMPAC in Troy and has also been shown at Lincoln Center and the Winter Garden Theater, both in New York, NY.
For additional information on the exhibit, contact Hartwick College Professor of Art Katherine Kreisher at 607-431-4828 or firstname.lastname@example.org@hartwick.edu.
