Call for Submissions to Hartwick’s Annual "Peep Show"March 13, 2014
What is more representative of spring than the oozy, gooey, sugary, marshmallow Peep? Hartwick's annual "Peep Show"! This year's sweet event will be held on Friday, April 25 in the Foyer of Anderson Center for the Arts on the Hartwick College campus. The event is free and the public is encouraged to attend and participate!
Each spring, Hartwick College holds its yearly Peep Show: all members of the college and surrounding communities are welcome to create a work of art representing, interpreting, defacing, mocking, celebrating, or analyzing the infamous marshmallow treat. Artists, friends, and Peep-lovers alike are invited to come view the art, enjoy some refreshments, and attend the Award Ceremony.
All Peep-inspired entries must be dropped off in Anderson between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Friday, April 25. Visiting lecturer Leesa Rittelmann will judge the entries. Judging starts at 2 p.m. and refreshments will be available at 3 p.m. The Peep-tastic Award Ceremony will commence at 4 p.m.
