Hartwick to Host Psychology Day April 9April 5, 2010
Hartwick College will host its first Psychology Day on Friday, April 9, with a full day of discussions and activities focusing on psychology careers, fields, and recognitions.
The inaugural event will celebrate Professor of Psychology Ronald Heyduk’s years of dedication to the College and the Psychology Department. It also will serve as a way for students to connect with Psychology alumni, who will return to share their insights in the field with current Hartwick students.
The day will begin at 9 a.m. with a discussion of graduate school for Psychology majors. Throughout the 11-hour event, students, faculty, staff, and alumni will discuss careers in clinical/counseling and experimental psychology, as well as alternative career paths. Current students and faculty also will have the opportunity to meet with alumni during the day.
The event will wrap up at 6 p.m. with a dinner and special recognition of Heyduk.
