Hartwick Education Students to Paint Pumpkins in Downtown OneontaOctober 4, 2011
Hartwick College student members of the Society for the Enrichment & Education of Children (Education Club) will host a free pumpkin painting event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 8 at the Oneonta Farmers' Market, Muller Plaza, Main Street, Oneonta. The event is free and open to the public.
Community children are invited to join in painting pumpkins in celebration of the autumn season.
The Hartwick College Education Club is a student-led group dedicated to the enrichment and education of children of all ages. The club organizes and executes a broad collection of activities throughout the school year.
"We've been looking forward to really getting involved with the local Oneonta community this year, and we are so happy that this is our first event to kick off our school year," said Society member and Anne Louise Wagner '13.
