Wisnewski to Discussed Pop Culture, Philosophy in Downtown Oneonta

Assistant Professor of Philosophy Jeremy Wisnewski discusseded his latest book, Twilight and Philosophy - as well as other philosophy and pop culture volumes he has edited - Thursday, October 15 at the Green Toad Bookstore on Main Street in Oneonta.

Wisnewski will discuss the purpose of the union of philosophy and pop culture, as well as some of the particular works he has edited.

In addition to Twilight and Philosophy, which is currently being translated into: French, Italian, German, Polish while production has started on an audiobook, they include X-Men and Philosophy (currently being translated into Portuguese), The Office and Philosophy (currently being translated into Chinese), and Family Guy and Philosophy. In 2010, he will publish two more in the series, Arrested Development and Philosophy and 30 Rock and Philosophy.
