About the WICKit card
Hartwick's student ID card, called WICKit, also serves other functions. The card controls access to the residence hall, keeps track of meal plan use, tracks meal plan dollars, and can track WICKit dollars for such campus services as campus vending and copy machines and campus washers and driers and other points of sale on the campus, including the food facilities and the bookstores.
Both meal plan dollars and WICKit dollars are tracked by this card, but there are some important differences.
Meal plan dollars can be pre-paid or charged to the student account by contacting the Office of Student Accounts. These funds are non-refundable, and while the funds can be held over from fall to spring, they are not carried to the next academic year. The bonus to this option is that no sales tax is added because they can be used only for food. For more information, see the related links above. If ypu would like to add money to the meal plan dollars by mailing check or cash, please download and print the meal dollars form in .pdf format,
WICKit dollars will be carried over from one academic year to the next and are refundable at graduation or time of separation from the College. WICKit funds are separate from your student's College student account and cannot be charged there. Instead, money can be added online by visiting https://community.hartwick.edu/.
On the opening page, you'll find

Here you may make secure deposits to your student's WICKit account using a credit card. Please note that
