I work as a music therapist and licensed professional counselor at a special education school in Connecticut. Hartwick prepared me for my career by providing me with sound fundamental music skills. I use this knowledge in my work with children and adolescents ages 3-21 with cognitive and physical disabilities, and those with autism. I enjoy my work and hope to be doing it long-term.
While at Hartwick I was involved in Cardboard Alley Players, APO, SAI, MENC, and stage crew. Music history with Dr. Man Hee Kang was my most interesting class. I traveled to London with Professor Duncan Smith during J Term. That experience taught me how to fend for myself. I loved the independence!
