Tom Barbur Thirtieth Inductee, Sept. 26, 1998 |

Tom Barbur helped set the standards by which basketball players at Hartwick College are measured. He graduated as the school's all-time leading scorer in basketball, with 1,178 points, and ranks 14th all-time in scoring at Hartwick at the time of induction. Barbur set a school record by scoring 42 points in the final game of his collegiate career. He captained the basketball team his senior year. During his junior year, Barbur ranked among the top free-throw shooters in the nation. He also played baseball and ran track at Hartwick. Barbur went on to play basketball at Fort Monmouth with and against a variety of NBA players. |

Dick Hiffa Thirty-First Inductee, Sept. 26, 1998 |

Dick Hiffa graduated as Hartwick's all-time leading scorer in men's basketball, netting 1,036 points in his career. Hiffa became the first 1,000-point scorer in school history. He ranks 23rd in career scoring at Hartwick at the time of induction. Hiffa helped the Hawks to a 73-25 record during his four-year career, leading the Hawks to school records for wins in 1947-48 and 1948-49. |

John Terry was a three-sport athlete for Hartwick, competing in football, basketball and baseball. He shone the most as a catcher on the Warriors baseball team, where he was a four-year starter. He led the team in hitting in 1939 with an amazing .516 batting average as the Warriors cleanup hitter. He keyed the Warriors to a 13-game winning streak in 1938-1939 and later went on to play professional baseball in the Can-Am league. Terry was also a four-year starter on the football team as a guard, and played two seasons of basketball at Hartwick. |

Susan Torell Thirty-Third Inductee, Sept. 26, 1998 |

Susan Torell won the NCAA Division III Championship in the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke in 1990, becoming the College's first individual National Champion. At the time of induction, Torell remains the school's only two-time National Champion. She earned All-American honors in 1989, 1990, and 1991. Torell helped reverse the fortunes of the Hartwick swim program, as the Hawks posted a 35-5 record during her tenure and have posted 11 consecutive winning seasons at the time of her induction. She set school records in the 50, 100 and 200-yard breaststroke, the 200 and 400 individual medley, and was a member of the school's 200 and 400-yard medley relay record-holding teams. At the time of induction, she still holds school-record times in the 50, 100 and 200-yard breaststroke and is a member of the record-holding 400-yard medley relay team. |

Jerry Fulmer Thirty-Fourth Inductee, Sept. 26, 1998 |

Jerry Fulmer helped the Hawks win 20 games in each of his four seasons, posting an 87-18 record during his four-year career. Hartwick advanced to the NCAA Division II playoffs in each of Fulmer's four years. He earned All-American honors in 1979. He led the Warriors in scoring in both his junior and senior seasons, scoring better than 22 points per game as a senior. He graduated as the school's third all-time leading scorer with 1,385 points, and ranks sixth in career scoring at the time of induction. |

Cathy Wood graduated from Hartwick as one of the most prolific female athletes to ever attend the school. The school's all-time scoring leader in soccer, Wood netted 53 goals and 10 assists for 116 points, a record that still stands at the time of induction. Wood captained the soccer team in her final two seasons and earned All-American honors during her senior season in 1987. She helped the Hawks earn two NCAA Tournament bids and one ECAC playoff during her career. Wood also set the school record for scoring in lacrosse with 210 points, which stands fourth all-time at Hartwick the time of induction. Her 14 points in a single game vs. Skidmore in 1988 set an NCAA single game scoring record. Her 10 goals in that game tied an NCAA single game record. She helped the Warriors advance to the ECAC playoffs in 1988. Wood earned All-State and Regional All-American honors in lacrosse during her senior year. She was the school's outstanding freshman athlete in 1985 and was presented the Margaret Lunn award in 1988. |

Les Miller Thirty-Sixth Inductee, Sept. 26, 1998 |

Les Miller graduated from Hartwick College in 1981, holding the school record for rebounding with 827 in his career, a record that has stood untouched for 17 years. He also ranks eighth in career scoring at the time of induction with 1,338 points. At the time of induction he still holds the school record for career field goal percentage at .583. Miller was a key player for Hartwick from 1977 to 1981, as the Warriors made three NCAA Division II tournament appearances in his four years. The Warriors posted an 83-22 record over Miller's four-year career. Miller co-captained the 1980-81 Hartwick squad and went on to play professional basketball in France. |
