The Wick Athletic Association provides our alumni, parents, and friends the opportunity to support the Hartwick Athletics program and enhance the student-athlete experience. It is undeniable that athletics at Hartwick adds a special vitality to campus. As an athlete, a proud parent of a student-athlete, or a friend of the department, you understand the crucial role that athletics plays and has traditionally played at Hartwick College.

Coaches teach their athletes important lessons about dedication, loyalty, competition, teamwork and leadership that translate from the field into world beyond Oyaron Hill. The WAA was created to show support and appreciation for this experience. Our mission is to help enhance the student-athlete experience by raising funds for: indoor and outdoor athletic facilities, bringing first class clinics to campus, team development trips, new weather gear for outdoor sports, practice and game filming equipment, end-of-season banquets, and much more.

Making a gift to the Wick Athletic Association is the most powerful way for alumni, parents, and friends to support athletics at Hartwick College.

What is the difference between WAA and the Blue & White Club?
In the past, all donors to Hartwick athletics have become members of the Blue & White Club. The organization was the first step in organizing athletics fundraising at Hartwick. The WAA is the next generation of that effort, and will feature expanded events and activities, and a coordinated effort to support the players and the teams.

Where do Division I sports and Re-Ignite the Wick fit in?

Over the past four years, the friends of Division I Athletics at Hartwick have done a commendable job of stepping forward and supporting DI at the College. The Re-Ignite the Wick campaign is in its final year. As the RITW Campaign comes to a close supporters are encouraged to become a part of WAA, to show their continued and unwavering support for DI athletics at Hartwick.

What are the benefits of membership?
Supporters of the Wick Athletic Association will receive a membership card (entitling them to free admittance to all Hartwick Home Athletic contests and 10% off at the Hartwick Barnes & Noble Bookstore), a WAA magnet, and a WAA window decal. Donors of $200.00 or more will receive a Wick Athletic Association golf shirt (men's or women's styles available).
